Little Lantern is a calm space for families to read together. We take the privacy of your family — especially the children using the app — seriously, and we try to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Account info: the email address you sign in with, and a display name you choose.
- Session info: which story you opened and basic technical details needed to connect your video call (for example, a temporary room ID).
- Device info: standard diagnostics like app version and error reports, used to keep the app working.
What we don't do
- We don't record your video or audio calls.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't show third-party advertising to you or your child.
Children
Little Lantern is designed to be used by a child together with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver. Accounts are created and managed by the adult.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@littlelantern.app.
