Welcome to Little Lantern. By using the app, you agree to these terms. We have tried to keep them short, clear, and centered on the current family storytime experience.

Using Little Lantern

• Little Lantern is designed for families to read stories together.
• An adult should start storytime and supervise children during use.
• Do not use Little Lantern to harass others, share harmful content, or break the law.

Storytime links

Private Storytime requires an active Trusted Adult connection between Adult Accounts. The hosting adult must complete the required adult verification and separately affirm that they are the child's parent or legal guardian before creating the session. The invited Trusted Adult must use the matching Adult Account. Private Storytime links should not be forwarded to anyone else.

Camera and microphone

Little Lantern asks for camera and microphone access only to support live family storytime. Private Storytime live audio and video media is configured for end-to-end encryption between participants. Little Lantern does not record or transcribe video or audio calls.

Children and supervision

Little Lantern is meant to be used with adult involvement. It is not a childcare, monitoring, emergency, medical, or safety service.

Stories and content

Stories, artwork, branding, and app design belong to Little Lantern and its collaborators. They are provided for personal family use in connection with the app.

Feedback

If you send feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, we may use them to improve Little Lantern without owing compensation to you.

Privacy

Our Privacy & Safety Policy explains how we handle information related to Little Lantern.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause, or remove parts of Little Lantern at any time. Features may evolve as we improve the app for families.

Limitation of responsibility

Little Lantern is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the updated version will appear on this page.
